ABA Therapy with ABA Centers of Florida
As the ABA Centers of Florida team prepares to sponsor the 2023 Bike to the Beach event, we want to introduce ABA therapy to you!
We understand how difficult it can be to navigate treatment for autism and other behavioral health challenges. Since the process can be overwhelming and intimidating, ABA Centers of Florida aims to provide reliable ABA therapy services to children, teens, and families who need help.
This past April, ABA Centers of Florida hosted an Autism Acceptance Night with the Florida Panthers at FLA Live Arena. Our client, Adrian, had the opportunity to personally high-five each Panthers player as they made their way onto the ice. Halfway through the game, he received a huge ovation from the crowd as the public address announcer shouted him out with a highlight on the scoreboard!
Much to the pleasure and excitement of Adrian, his family, and his RBT close by his side, our client enjoyed a full hockey experience with absolutely no sensory-related setbacks. He smiled on screen, cheered for each goal, and went home as one of the stars of the game. The success of this event and many others like it solidifies why ABA therapy can be such a beneficial option for so many. In a situation where sensory concerns could’ve easily jeopardized his enjoyment, Adrian instead championed the night as the “High-Five Kid!”
