Join the Bike to the Beach community as we launch the New England season with two fun, casual kickoff rides on Saturday, May 9.
We’ll gather with riders in Massachusetts and Rhode Island for two no-drop group rides followed by relaxed brewery meetups to celebrate the start of the season.
Whether you’re training for Bike to the Beach or just looking for a great ride with great people, these events are the perfect way to get rolling. All riders welcome.

Join us later in the day for an evening ride through Providence followed by a fun community meetup along the waterfront at RI’s favorite local brewery.

Join us for a 21-mile casual no-drop ride.
This ride is designed to be relaxed, welcoming, and social — perfect for riders who want to connect with the Bike to the Beach community and start the season together.
No pressure. No racing. Just great riding and great company.
📍 Location: Shovel Town Brewery, 50 Oliver St, North Easton, MA 02356
🕥 Schedule:
- 9:30 AM – Meet at the brewery
- 9:45 AM – Wheels up for a group ride
- 12:00 PM – Return to the brewery
- 12:30 PM – Bike to the Beach fun + introductions

Rhode Island Kickoff Ride
Ride Details
Join us for a 20-mile casual no-drop ride through Providence.
This ride is all about bringing the Bike to the Beach community together and enjoying a beautiful evening ride.
No pressure — just fun riding with great people.
📍 Location: Narragansett Brewery, 271 Tockwotton St, Providence, RI
🕥 Schedule:
- 4:30 PM — Meet at the brewery
- 4:45 PM — Wheels up for the group ride
- 6:00 PM — Return to the brewery
- 6:30 PM — Bike to the Beach introductions + community time

Choose from 100, 60, or 25-mile ride options and experience an unforgettable journey with rest stops, SAG support, and a celebration at the finish line.
