Welcome Melissa Parsons: The New Executive Director of the +ADD Impact Network
We are thrilled to introduce the newest member of the Bike to the Beach and +ADD Impact Network team: Melissa Parsons! In early August, Melissa stepped into the role of Executive Director, bringing a wealth of experience, enthusiasm, and an incredible spirit of leadership. The Board and Staff are excited to have her join us as we continue to grow Bike to the Beach and deepen our support for local autism partners in every community we serve.
Melissa’s background in nonprofit leadership spans decades, making her a powerhouse in event organization and community-building. From organizing 24-hour Relay for Life events with the American Cancer Society to spearheading the growth of the Tampa Bay Tour de Cure, her expertise in event execution is matched only by her passion for the causes she supports. Melissa has led national marketing and communications efforts, built strong local committees, and inspired volunteer teams to achieve extraordinary results. Her vast experience makes her a perfect fit to guide Bike to the Beach and the +ADD Impact Network toward even greater success in supporting autism and disabilities initiatives.
Melissa currently resides in sunny Orlando, Florida, where she enjoys life with her husband and two elementary-aged children. Outside of work, she’s an avid runner, Pilates enthusiast, and dedicated volunteer, staying active both in her personal life and her community. Her commitment to giving back shines through in her involvement on local nonprofit boards and her support of small fundraising events in her area.
We feel incredibly fortunate to have someone of Melissa’s caliber at the helm, and we are confident that she will help steer Bike to the Beach into an exciting new chapter of growth.
