Our 2026 Bike to the Beach Kick-off Ride

Saturday, April 25 | Celebration at Caboose Brewing at 1 PM

Join us for Bike to the Brewery, an exciting group ride that will “KICK OFF” our Bike to the Beach season —all while raising awareness and support for autism and disabilities. Whether you’re training for Bike to the Beach or just looking for a fun and social ride, this event is for you – ALL ARE WELCOME!

🚲 Ride Options

Two casual group rides will roll out and meet at Caboose Brewing:

  • Georgetown Start
    Ride from Georgetown along the W&OD corridor toward Vienna.
  • Bike Lane Start (Reston)
    Evolution Cycling will lead a group ride starting from The Bike Lane in Reston.

Both groups will roll toward Caboose Brewing, where the celebration begins.

🎉 Caboose Celebration – 1 PM

We’ll gather at Caboose Brewing for our kickoff party featuring:

  • Great beer and food

  • Community meet-up with Bike to the Beach riders

  • Kickoff of the DMV riding season

  • Autism Acceptance Month celebration

This is the perfect opportunity to connect with fellow riders, meet new teammates, and start the season strong.

🚴 First Up: Massachusetts Ride Details

 📍 Location: Shovel Town Brewery, 50 Oliver St, North Easton, MA 02356
📅 Date: Saturday, May 10, 2025

🕥 Schedule:

  • 9:30 AM – Meet at the brewery
  • 9:45 AM – Wheels up for a group ride
  • 12:00 PM – Return to the brewery
  • 12:30 PM – Bike to the Beach fun + introductions

🚴‍♀️ Ride Details:
Join us for a casual 21-mile, no-drop ride—no pressure, just fun and good company!

🍕 Post-Ride Vibes:
Stick around for pizza and drinks (cash bar available). Whether you ride or not, feel free to join us at the brewery!

🅿️ Parking:
Parking is available at the brewery, but please check signs, as some spots are reserved for nearby businesses. Overflow parking is available next door at the YMCA and across the street at the park.

🚴 Second Up: Rhode Island Ride Details

 📍 Location: Narragansett Brewery, 271 Tockwotton St, Providence, RI
📅 Date: Saturday, May 10, 2025

🕥 Schedule:

  • 4:30 PM – Meet at the brewery
  • 4:45 PM – Wheels up for a group ride
  • 6:00 PM – Return to the brewery
  • 6:30 PM – Bike to the Beach fun + introductions

Take your ride to the next level and join us on June 19th 13th for Bike to the Beach, our fully supported charity ride from Boston University to Newport, Rhode Island in support of autism and disABILITY nonprofits. Choose from 100,70, 50, or 25-mile ride options and experience an unforgettable journey with rest stops, SAG support, and a celebration at the finish line.
